Of her faith, Lydia reflects: “I give thanks that I have never known a time when I did not believe in God. I am grateful for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and the experience of God’s Spirit at work in my life.” Rev. Dr. Rappaport was ordained in 1983. She was installed as Co-Pastor here in November 2004 and became Pastor in January 2005. She currently is on the Marple /Newtown Clergy Association. Lydia recently earned her Doctor of Ministry degree at Princeton Theological Seminary. She is a native of Minnesota, where she was born and raised as the oldest of seven children. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Wright State University with majors in Speech, Theatre, and English. Lydia subsequently attended Princeton Theological Seminary, where she was awarded her Master of Divinity degree, with concentrations in administration and preaching. She also recently completed her Doctorate of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. |
